Academic Excellence
As an organization comprised of aspiring, young, empowering, professional women of color, Phi Lambda Rho Sorority maintains Academic Excellence as one of its four objectives. Sisters hold study sessions with one another in the university’s many libraries, mostly within the study rooms/study pods. Our sorority has also just established its very own "RHOsa Library & Resources" where sisters and interests have unlimited access to a plethora of books, tests, exams, and other resources such as blue books, scantrons, scratch paper- almost everything that is neccessary in order to excel in academics.

When it comes to our Academics, we don't just limit ourselves to the standards that were set out for us. We continue to excel and grow as professional and conscious women of color- understanding the diverse amount of events that are occuring around us which are constantly affecting our rights in and outside of the classrooms. We also find different forms in which we can educate one another and our peers, by attending workshops, sharing articles with one another, or just having talking circles about different events that are happening on our campus, or all over the World. We also strongly look out to our inspiring Alumnae who continue to show their support by encouraging us to apply to Graduate School, apply to different programs, or simply share the knowledge and resources that they have available to us all. As Phi Lambda Rho Sorority, we all continue to go above and beyond our maximum potential, and the typical expectations.
RHOsa Scholarship

We recognize that the transition from high school to university may be a rough road and, as such, Phi Lambda Rho works to ensure that each sister takes full advantage of the university's resources as well as the other resources we can share amongst each other. We aim to ensure that each sister completes the degree that she set out to achieve and in doing so, we pave the way for future generations of college-educated women.
In order to also support the rising number of young Latinas pursuing a college degree, Phi Lambda Rho @ Delta Chapter has also established the “RHOsa Scholarship". Our hope is that this scholarship will continue to grow and we look forward to awarding future scholarships to promising young women. Our scholarship is available every Summer to one incoming transfer and one incoming freshman.
